Tried a lil something different today. I used Pearlescent watercolor right after pencil in in my lettering.  BIG error!! It wouldn't let me erase my pencil outlines. Some area I had to make bigger loops to hid them. I also learned my pens will barely write on the pearl watercolor.

For some reason my uni-ball pen would glide on this as i hope it would. :( but the watercolors was awesome on it. ..only this is that it curls a lot.

I tried looking for some sort of animal/critters to trace and try this out, but no such luck. So i used a stamp, it was okay. I really need to look into a Illustrator book. First i used watercolor then let it dry, then added some more color with Prismacolor and Watercolors. I was so careful with this page..I didnt want to tear the page. It came out okay...i need more practicing with tissue paper.

Another practice page :) Im not sure if i like the way this one came out. I kept messing up with my uni-ball pen and making my swirls go all over the place. Plus i mess up on the bottom right side with the pen and made a mess..I tried fixing it...IDK...but at least I learned that my uni-bal is permanent..lol

In the Studio: beautiful

I found out Prismacolor and cardboard works together...Awesomely!!!! I love how it glides on so softly. I even used my first pen on this page. I used the Sharpie white paint pen. I even made a boo boo when i pushed down the pen and a lot of white paint came out on the cardboard. You can see it around the word DAY. I just rubbed it all around and it worked out okay.

Heres my new kindle case :) I just wish i had more space above on my clouds on the orginal, that way i would have had a longer flap. Buts its okay, i still like how it came out :)

I didn't have the regular size bag, but I decided to use a smaller simple bag. Maybe one of the Lil girls will like these.

Watercolor!

I'm excited to try this brand of watercolor s. Really haven't played around a lot with watercolors, but it will be fun to try it out again.

New brushes

Added some more brushes to my collection. I couldn't find my knife sets so had to get new ones.

Paint!

I really haven't played with acrylic paint, so this will be new to me.
